Richly enamelled after sketches of Indonesian insects and flora by the famous woman botanist Maria Sybilla Merian, blue and gilt inner border and the rims with Pronk style scrollwork in a distinctive palette.

Condition: (UV-checked)

- In nearly excellent condition, with minor superficial wear of the gilded and overglaze enamel design. A negligible superficial 1 mm chip of the brown glazed rim.
