The work inscribed with the number '1126'.

The crouching Venus by Coysevox is part of the Louvre collection (Paris, Louvre MR 1826). The original model of Venus taking her ritual bath dates from the third century BC and was most probably made by the Greek sculptor Doidalsas of Bithynia.

 

Condition: (UV-checked)

- The both candlesticks in good condition, with the usual wear and minor traces of use. One of the bobèches with minor damage to the top rim.

- The springs tested with the key and tension is present.

- The clock with wear.
