There is some confusion between the oeuvre of Leendert I de Koningh (1777-1849) and Leendert II de Koningh (1810-1887).

Provenance:

- Hôtel de Ventes de Monte Carlo, 29 November 2014, lot 105 (as Leendert I de Koningh).

- French private collection.

Condition: (UV-checked)

- The painting in good and hangable condition.

- The usual minor damage to the borders due to the framing.

- Faint network of craquelures and some larger vertical ones.

- Some minor overpainting showing to two spots under UV-light.

- Panel slightly curved towards upper and lower edge.

- Reverse with some old wax residues and traces of an old label.
