The Ukrainian artist Ihor Ropyanyk (Ropyanic) (°1957, Ivano-Frankivsk) graduated in 1983 at the Lviv State Ivan Franko’s University, Faculty of Journalism. For 23 years he worked as a correspondent for several newspapers. He is a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. He also started a study at the Moscow People's University of Arts and took private lessons from famous artists. His work can be found in private collections all over the world.
