Provenance: With a label on the back for Mr. Paul Rouviere, possibly the French architect who designed the basilica of Blois in France.

Ref.: Polychromed panels such as our current example are rather uncommon. A comparative yet probably English example is in the Moyse's Hall Museum, dated to the late 16th C. (link)
