* Jan MEYER: city printer and one of the most important printers in Ghent in the second half of the 18th C.
- ’De Kleyne Christelyke Academie, dat is de oeffenplaetse der geleerdheyd…Opgedragen aan het Kindeken Jesus,…Gedrukt met toestemminge van Henricus Van Susteren, Bisschop van Brugge…Jan MEYER’, [1787](*), 4°, 80 pp. 

Gothic letter and 'civilité'. Hard paper cover, with some stains. Ex-libris: handwritten and dated on the back of the front cover: 'Charles Vanderhofstadt 1787'(*); stamp: 'Jules Fonteyne BRUGGE'. 'Approbatie' in Bruges 1717 and ‘Goedkeuringe’ in Ghent 1741.
The presumed author is the priest of Tielt and Wingene J.B. Van Lokeren (...-1731?).

* Jan-Jozef GIMBLET: Jan was a printer from 1781 to 1789 in the Veldstraat. The Widow GIMBLET succeeded him until 1801.

* Leander and I.-C. VAN PAEMEL: Leander was a printer in the Brabantdam from 1818 to 1845. He was the successor of Jacobus and Pieter Kimpe from the Torenbrug and Donkersteeg (1799-1816). Daughter Isabelle-Carolina Van Paemel succeeded father Leander there.

- ’Historie van de weirdige moeder S. Anna, Beschryvende haer Leven en Dood…Overgezet uyt het Latyn door Waltherius Born, Carthuyzer tot Moninkhuyzen. L. Van Paemel.’ S.d. (between 1818 and 1845), 8°, 72 pp., illustrated title, roman and italic lettering. With approval of 1631. Full parchment binding.

The ‘Historie van de weirdige moeder S. Anna’ is based on a life of the saints translated from the Latin by the Arnhem cleric Walterus Bor, published in Breda in 1499 and in Antwerp by Vorsterman in 1530. His translation ended up in the chapbook after bishop Malderus van Antwerp in 1621, along with a whole series of other folk novels, had also condemned an over-imaginative 'Historie' of Saint Anne.

* Petrus-Franciscus DE GOESIN: from 1787 to 1831 he led, as the son and grandson of the printers with the same first name Pierre-François (Petrus-Franciscus) de Goesin, one of Ghent's most important printing business, namely P.F. de Goesin-Verhaeghe.

With ex-libris handwritten in ink 'Ex-libris J.B.M. Fisco'. With some added interleaves, handwritten, with details about the French deputies who had condemned the King.
