The Ukrainian artist Taras Tabaka (°1965, Uzhorod, Zakrarpatian region) started to paint at the age of five and graduated at the Art University. From 1986 onwards, his work was exhibited worldwide: Ukraine (1986, 1987, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006), Czechoslovakia (1988), Serbia and Montenegro (1990), Hungary (1991, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006), Germany (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995), USA (1992), Denmark (1993), Slovakia (1995, 2000), Poland (1995), Austria (1996, 2005, 2006), Spain (1997) and Russia (1999, 2003). Nowadays he is an appreciated member of the Association of Ukrainian Artists.

The proceeds from this lot go to 'All my heart with Ukraine'. This organization, in collaboration with 'Happy Wood', provides a roof over the heads of citizens who have become homeless due to the violence of war.
