- Ex-collection Joris Diels (1903-1992), former director of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Schouwburg (KNS) in Antwerp. Diels was married to Ida Wassermann (1901-1977). Because of the Jewish descent of this actress, the couple had to flee in 1944. Just before their braid, the book was passed on to Luc De Jaegher (by repute).
