Provenance:

- Ex-collection Baron Beyens (Napoléon Eugène Louis Joseph Marie Auguste, 1855-1934), a famous Belgian diplomat and minister, son of Eugène Beyens (1816-1894) and Maria de las Merce des Alcala Galiano y Valencia (1828-1917), husband of Marguerite Oppenheim whom he married on the 1st of June 1899 in Paris. The origins of the Beyens family, a family of lawyers and diplomats, lie in Nazareth, the municipality where the auction house is also located (link).

- The vase in very good condition with a few natural tension lines running from the bottom upwards and the typical natural inclusions.
