Important cadre en bois sculpté et doré aux dais à arcatures gothiques qui abritent des moines, probablement France, début du 16ème siècle

This large carved, polychromed and gilded wooden frame has the sides decorated with niches with Gothic arches, sheltering monks holding a book, topped with hooked pinnacle summits. The frieze is decorated with lancets and fleurons, the base with series of rosettes. It is attributable to the South of France, probably circa 1500.
