A pair of impressive French gilt bronze eighteen-light floor standing candelabra in the manner of Pierre-Philippe Thomire, Paris, first half 19th C.

Each surmounted by a two-tier bouquet of scrolling branches, each terminating with a foliate drip-pan and candle holder, centred by a stem with pine finial, the fluted support on acanthus-cast rims and scrolling palmettes, on a triangular base with paw feet, each raised on a further studded green-velvet lined plinth.
