A large German gilt bronze mounted gilt wooden cheval-glass or psyche mirror, third quarter of the 19th C.

The rectangular mirror-plate within a carved frame of ribbon-tied garland of acanthus leaves, flanked to each side by a fluted support, each surmounted by an urn finial, the front with scrolling gilt-bronze twin-branch candle arms, on lower scroll supports, each joined by a turned bulbous stretcher.
