A pair of impressive Japanese Kutani iron-red, polychrome and gilt flared rim vases, Meiji, 19th C.

H 168 - 150 cm (with and without base)

Condition: One in quasi excellent condition with a baking-related tension line in the upper part, running horizontally across ca. half the circumference. The second with two restored sections to the upper rim, the restoration somewhat yellowed, otherwise good.
The stands with some wear and minor damage.
