A large Chinese bronze ritual food vessel, 'ding', possibly Warring States Period

Condition:
- Overall in good, solid condition.
- Three pierced holes in the body, as well as a fourth irregular puncture.
- A section of loss to the rim above one of the handles.
- A ca. 4 cm tear just below the rim.
- One handle possibly re-attached, some irregularity showing on that handle as well, please refer to the images.

Provenance:
- The collection of Mr. and Mrs. S., Ghent, Belgium.
- Acquired from Eslampanah, Brussels, in June 2013, according to the owner's inventory notes.
