A Steuben Aurene Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase, United States, 20th C.

The 'Aurene' name was giving to the iridescent surface, developed by the glass maker, glass designer and glass artist Frederick Carder (1863-1963).

The vase with an acid etched fleur-de-lis Steuben signature, typical for the whole Carder era from 1903 until 1933.
