The reverse with a difficult to read text: possibly a portrait of a member of the Stüben family.

Provenance:

- Private collection the Netherlands, acquiered by the previous owner in France.

Condition: (UV-checked)

- The painting in general in good condition.

- The UV-light shows foremost the colour of the varnish.

- Would benefit of a cleaning.

- Minor flaking paint.

- A small hole at the top due to an earlier suspension system.
