Inspired by Antwerp, Plantijn’s legacy, and this golden era, Pavels Collection handbags feature diamond clasps that can also transform into pendants. The leather patterns reflect the wall decorations in Platijn’s historic residence, which can still be admired in Antwerp today.

Pavels Collection, an HRD Alumni, creates unique leather handbags adorned with exquisitely crafted diamond clasps.

The pattern on the bag is formed by hand-pressing the leather using an old ornament used at the Plantijn-Moretus Museum, now held in a private collection. This was a collaboration with Goudleer-atelier Van Soest.

Exhibited: Antwerp Diamond Museum, 2017

Estimate: € 10000 - € 20000
