Paul-Auguste Masui-Castrique was a Luxembourgish-Belgian painter, pastellist, watercolourist and graphic artist who was born in Differdange in 1888 and died in Uccle in 1981. He realized foremost landscapes, city and village views and he was successively influenced by symbolism, expressionism and realism. In 1935, he was responsible for the decoration of the Brabant pavilion at the World Exhibition in Brussels. His oeuvre is now managed by the Fondation Isabelle Masui.
